Manila, Feb. 17 -- The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation in Caraga (PhilHealth-13) disbursed over PHP2.8 billion for 304,044 claims in 2024, an official said Monday.
PhilHealth-13 Regional Vice President Michael Jibson Hernandez assured the public that the agency remains financially stable despite not receiving a subsidy allocation in this year's budget.
"We have no reason to worry. We are processing claims efficiently. PhilHealth is financially robust, and we have ample reserves to sustain our operations," Hernandez told reporters here.
