Manila, April 2 -- Malacanang on Wednesday assured China that none of the foreign nationals visiting the Philippines are being harassed.

"Tandaan po natin, lahat po dito ay welcome, except po of course kapag gumagawa po ng krimen. I-implement po natin kung ano po ang batas (Let's remember, everyone here is welcome, except of course when they commit a crime. Let's implement what the law is)," Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said in a press briefing.

This, after the Chinese government warned Chinese citizens over what it claimed was an "unstable" security situation in the Philippines.
