Manila, Oct. 30 -- Alas Pilipinas lost to Thailand, 24-26, 20-25, 24-26, in the Asian Youth Games girls' volleyball battle for the bronze medal Wednesday night at the Isa Sports City-Hall C in Bahrain.

Rhose Almendralejo had a match-high 15 points to lead the Philippines, while Harlyn Serneche and Samantha Cantada had eight points apiece.

Natthawan Phatthaisong scored 13 points followed by Sasithorn Jatta with 12, while Nattharika Wasan and Wisaruta Sengna chipped in 11 and 10 points, respectively, as Thailand claimed victory after one hour and 29 minutes.
