Manila, April 23 -- The Philippines is looking to further expand its ties with Indonesia in terms of climate change response.
Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. made the remark after his meeting with Indonesian Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel in Mandaluyong City on Wednesday.
"At pinaka-importante dahil halos pareho ang mga hamon na hinaharap natin sa climate change, joint climate change response and enhancement (and most important of all, as our nations are facing similar climate change, joint climate change, response and enhancement)," Teodoro said in an ambush interview.
