MANILA, Nov. 1 -- The Philippine eVisa operations has officially resumed in China with a soft launch on Saturday, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said.
The Philippine Embassy in Beijing and the rest of the foreign service posts in China will begin the full implementation on Nov. 3.
Under the new system, Chinese nationals residing in mainland China, Macau and Hong Kong will be eligible to apply for Philippine eVisas for tourism and business purposes, provided they will enter through the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Metro Manila and the Mactan-Cebu International Airport in Cebu.
The eVisa is valid for a single, non-extendable, and non-convertible 14-day entry.
