Manila, June 26 -- The Philippine government supports the two-state solution to address the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Malacanang said on Thursday.

"Ang Pilipinas po ay laging sumusuporta sa two-state solution to independent states na Palestine at Israel na mag-co-exist side by side na kinikilala ang kani-kaniyang borders (The Philippines has always supported the two-state solution to the independent states of Palestine and Israel to co-exist side by side, recognizing their respective borders)," Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said in a press briefing.
