Manila, May 19 -- The Philippine and US Marine Corps will participate in the annual "Kamandag" exercises from May 26 to June 6 to bolster cooperation between the two armed services.

Held since 2016, the annual bilateral exercise between the Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) and the US Marine Corps seeks to enhance multi-national military readiness, interoperability and regional defense capabilities.

In an advisory, the PMC said "Kamandag", or Exercise Kaagapay ng Mga Mandirigma Mula sa Dagat, will open at Marine Barracks Rudiardo Brown, Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City.
