Manila, Sept. 9 -- The Philippines and South Korea are looking into having increased defense cooperation in response to regional security challenges, the Department of National Defense (DND) said on Tuesday.
In a statement, the DND said the topic was discussed during a meeting between Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. and South Korean Defense Minister Ahn Gyu-Back.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Seoul Defense Dialogue (SDD) 2025 on Monday, the DND said.
