Manila, April 15 -- The Philippines and Morocco celebrated 50 years of diplomatic relations with a joint commemorative stamp featuring the Mactan-Cebu and Marrakech Menara airports.
In a news release on Tuesday, Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) Postmaster General Luis Carlos said the stamps symbolize a bridge that connects the countries' innovation and connectivity in the aviation sector.
The PHLPost stamp features the magnificent architecture of Mactan-Cebu International Airport Terminal 2.
Its wave-like roof structure represents the traditional Filipino "bangka" *boat canoes), supported by large glulam wood arches.
