New Delhi, Aug. 5 -- The Philippines and India signed 13 new bilateral agreements spanning defense, maritime security, law enforcement, digital tech, tourism, and outer space - marking the formal elevation of their ties to a Strategic Partnership.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi witnessed the exchange of the new deals on Tuesday following their closed-door bilateral meeting at Hyderabad House.
Key agreements signed were:
--Exchange of Declaration on the Establishment of Strategic Partnership between the Republic of India and the Republic of the Philippines and
