Manila, April 22 -- The National Privacy Commission (NPC) and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of the Islands of Bermuda (PrivCom) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to strengthen cooperation on personal data protection and cross-border enforcement.

The MOU was signed at Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. during the first day of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Global Privacy Summit 2025 on Monday.

Present at the ceremony were NPC Commissioner John Henry Naga and Deputy Privacy Commissioner Nerissa De Jesus, alongside PrivCom Privacy Commissioner Alexander White.
