Manila, Aug. 17 -- Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives seized almost PHP1 billion worth of illegal drugs from Aug. 8 to 15.

Of 135 arrested suspects, 85 were suspected drug pushers, 17 were drug den operators, 26 were drug den clients, and seven were drug users and possessors, according to a PDEA news release over the weekend.

PDEA operatives confiscated 146,278.30 grams of shabu and 24,000 marijuana plants eradicated in Cordillera during the period.
