Manila, June 23 -- The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized PHP486 million worth of illegal drugs during operations June 13 to 20 in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to pursue a relentless campaign against the drug trade.

In a news release Monday, the PDEA said it conducted 75 high-impact operations with 53 buy-busts, seven drug recoveries, six marijuana eradications, three search warrants executed and two interdictions leading to the arrest of 82 drug personalities.

Operatives confiscated 69,968.40 grams (crystalline powder), 408 milliliters (liquid) and 17 ml (liquified) of shabu; 20,120 plants, 4,000 seedlings, and 2,407.21 grams of dried leaves of marijuana; 1,087.29 grams of cocaine; and 135 ecsta...
