Manila, Jan. 3 -- Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents in Bicol arrested a high-value suspect and seized more than PHP1.36 million worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust in Guinobatan, Albay on Saturday morning.

In a press release, PDEA said the suspect, an unemployed 27-year-old from Taguig City, is classified as a high-value target in the region's anti-drug campaign.

The operation was conducted at 9 a.m.

Authorities recovered some 200 grams of suspected shabu packed in two knot-tied transparent plastic sachets.

Also confiscated were non-drug items, including one genuine PHP1,000 bill with a recorded serial number used as buy-bust money, several PHP1,000 bill replicas wrapped in cling plastic, an Android mobile phone,...
