Manila, Feb. 6 -- The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency - Laboratory Service (PDEA LS) has passed a prestigious forensic proficiency testing program sponsored by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Vienna, Austria.

In a news release Friday, PDEA said the Laboratory Service passed the International Collaborative Exercises (ICE) Result 2025 - Round 2 after correctly identifying all eight unknown components contained in four vials provided by UNODC.

The ICE is a globally recognized quality assurance program that rigorously evaluates the capability of forensic laboratories to accurately identify controlled substances from seized materials and biological samples.
