Manila, Oct. 31 -- The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has provided PHP14.56-billion in medical assistance to more than 1.36 million patients since 2022.

The PCSO also donated PHP125 million in medical equipment to local government units (LGUs) and other beneficiaries, and handed out PHP74.88 million to institutional partners, according to a news release on Friday.

The agency likewise distributed 233,250 "charitimba" (charity pail) containing food packs and more than 10,000 assistive devices to victims of natural calamities nationwide.

During the past three years, the PCSO remitted PHP18.7 billion to government agencies and allocated PHP4.2 billion to charity funds, supporting public health and social services.
