MANILA, Nov. 28 -- The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) is ready to brief the Senate about its programs and policies, Malacanang said on Friday.
This came a day after Senator Robinhood Padilla filed a resolution seeking a Senate investigation into the PCO's alleged dissemination of "unverified, potentially propagandizing, and misleading information" that caused public confusion.
PCO acting Secretary Dave Gomez expressed readiness to cooperate with the Senate, should it conduct an inquiry regarding the agency's information dissemination, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said.
