Manila, Jan. 28 -- The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Wednesday dispatched a total of 19 technical divers to assist in the search for the 10 missing passengers of MV Trisha Kerstin 3 that sank in waters near Baluk-Baluk Island in Basilan.
In a statement, the PCG said the 19 divers are led by PCG Commander Cheska Jamorol.
To date, 316 individuals have been rescued from the passenger ship, which sank on Monday, while 18 have been confirmed dead.
The 10 missing persons from the ship include eight crew members, the ship captain, and the PCG sea marshal who was on board the ship during the incident.
