Manila, March 26 -- The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is investigating the collision between landing craft LCT Nicia and cargo ship MV Sangko Uno 66 in waters near Rosario, Cavite on Wednesday.

In an incident report, the PCG said LCT Nicia was traversing the said waters bound for Cebu while MV Sangko Uno 66 was on its way to the Pasay Reclamation Project from Zambales province when the incident occurred.

"No casualties were recorded and no oil spillage was observed in the vicinity waters of Rosario. However, the two vessels sustained minor damage," it said.

PCG Commandant, Adm. Ronnie Gil Gavan, ordered both vessels to go to Manila and cooperate with the PCG's Marine Casualty Investigation.
