Manila, May 13 -- The Philippine Coast Guard in Bicol (PCG-5) facilitated the passage of over 50,000 outbound passengers and 31,000 inbound passengers through regional ports on May 9 to 12.
In an interview on Tuesday, Commodore Ivan Roldan reported that the PCG-5 also provided security assistance to voters in 116 precincts across the six provinces of the Bicol Region.
Roldan said outbound passengers were those who traveled from Metro Manila or other parts of Luzon to the Bicol Region, while inbound passengers were those who came from Bicol and traveled to other regions of the country.
