MANILA, Nov. 13 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday vowed to immediately cancel the passport of former lawmaker Zaldy Co once formal criminal charges are filed against him in connection with the alleged anomalies in flood control projects.
Co, a former representative of the Ako Bicol Partylist, resigned from the House of Representatives in September after he was tagged as among those allegedly involved in the kickback scheme in flood control projects.
Currently abroad, Co has not returned to the Philippines and has confirmed, through his lawyer, that he will not do so anytime soon due to alleged credible threats against his life.
