Manila, April 22 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Tuesday led the turnover of 91 patient transport vehicles (PTVs) to local government units (LGUs) in Northern Mindanao and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

During the ceremonial turnover at Pelaez Sports Center in Cagayan de Oro City, 85 of the 91 total PTVs were given to LGUs in Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, Bukidnon, Camiguin, Lanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur.

The six remaining units were distributed to LGU beneficiaries from the BARMM.

Marcos said the donation of the PTVs was part of the Marcos administration's commitment to providing prompt and affordable health services to all Filipinos.
