Manila, April 4 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday said he would be "very fortunate" if his hand-picked candidates under the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas coalition win this year's senatorial race.

Marcos said it is "very easy" to campaign for the Alyansa's Senate slate, stressing that all of his chosen candidates could be considered "superstars" because of their impressive track records and experiences in public service.
