Manila, June 28 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has designated former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) chairperson Patrick Gregorio as the new head of the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Malacanang announced on Saturday.
Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin confirmed in a text message that Gregorio will be replacing Richard Bachmann, a former PBA player who was appointed to the top PSC post in December 2022.
Bersamin did not divulge as to when Gregorio, currently president of the Philippine Rowing Association, would assume his new stint.
Malacanang did not release a copy of Gregorio's appointment paper.
