Manila, Dec. 16 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has appointed lawyer Anna Liza Logan as the new Chief Presidential Legal Counsel, Malacanang announced on Tuesday.

Logan replaced former Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile, who passed away on Nov. 13 at the age of 101.

Logan previously served as the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs.

She also has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation, family, labor and human settlements adjudication commission cases, corporate and commercial practice for financial technology companies, real estate development entities and non-governmental organizations.
