Manila, Nov. 7 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday inspected the Mananga Bridge in Talisay City, Cebu, after it was heavily damaged during the onslaught of Typhoon Tino (international name Kalmaegi).
During his visit to Talisay City, Marcos assessed the extent of the typhoon's damage to Mananga Bridge, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said in a news release.
The PCO said one lane of the Mananga Bridge remains impassable due to cracks and other structural damage caused by widespread flooding in the province.
Typhoon Tino battered parts of the Visayas earlier this week, bringing heavy rains and strong winds that triggered flooding and landslides in several towns in Cebu.
