Manila, March 21 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday led the inspection of the ongoing construction of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) Governor's Drive Interchange, a key infrastructure project aimed at easing congestion and improving connectivity in the region.
The interchange is 44 percent complete and is expected to be operational by the third quarter of 2025, according to the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), which operates the expressway.
"Once completed, this segment will decongest Governor's Drive and provide seamless access to major economic hubs," the MPTC said in a statement.
