Manila, May 21 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. welcomed the international cast and crew of the upcoming romantic comedy film "The Last Resort" at Malacanang Palace on Wednesday, celebrating what he described as a moment of pride for the Philippines.

The film, which is set in the country, features a high-profile ensemble led by Daisy Ridley and Alden Ehrenreich, who were known for their roles in the Star Wars franchise.
