Manila, Feb. 19 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has signed Republic Act (RA) 12121 creating eight additional courts in San Juan City.

RA 12121, inked by Marcos on Feb. 13, converts four branches of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) for Pasig City that are located in San Juan City into RTC branches for San Juan.

These include the RTC Branches 68, 160, 162 and 264.

On top of the newly-converted RTC branches, two additional RTC branches and two other branches of the Metropolitan Trial Court (MeTC) in the National Capital Judicial Region are created and stationed in San Juan City.
