Manila, Jan. 22 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday assured the public that the discomfort he experienced on Wednesday night is not life-threatening, calling the circulating rumors about his death "highly exaggerated."
In a video message, Marcos said he is feeling much better.
"I'm fine. I'm feeling very different from the way I was feeling before. Naayos na ang problema (The issue was addressed)," Marcos said, when asked for an update on his health condition.
He revealed that he was diagnosed with diverticulitis, a digestive condition that occurs when small pouches in the wall of the colon, called diverticula, become inflamed or infected.
