Davao City, Aug. 4 -- Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) Secretary Leo Tereso Magno on Monday commended President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s healthcare initiative, which aims to strengthen healthcare access in Mindanao's underserved communities.

Magno's statement followed the President's turnover of 106 patient transport vehicles (PTVs) in Dipolog City on Aug. 1.

Magno said the initiative marks a major stride in the administration's mission to enhance healthcare delivery, particularly in the Zamboanga Peninsula and Lanao del Sur.

"The deployment of PTVs reinforces the administration's commitment to equitable development across the region," he added.
