MANILA, May 5 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said the national government will adopt the distribution system being used by the Cebu provincial government for the rollout of the PHP20 per kg. rice sale dubbed "Benteng Bigas Meron (BBM) Na."

This came after the Department of Agriculture (DA) launched the pilot rollout of the "BBM Na" program in Cebu on May 1, in line with the Marcos administration's commitment to ensure a stable and affordable food supply for every Filipino.
