Manila, Feb. 14 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Saturday emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration with the private sector to attain the government's goal of providing Filipinos with "accessible, affordable, and reliable" power supply.
Marcos toured the Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) exhibit at the Meralco Theater in Pasig City, held in response to the President's directives to deliver immediate solutions to the energy crisis.
He hailed Meralco's continued support for his administration's efforts to overhaul the Philippine power industry, acknowledging the largest distribution utility's crucial role in advancing the government's national energy agenda.
