Manila, June 20 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured the public of his administration's commitment to completing several key transport projects within this year.

Marcos said the government is eyeing the completion of big infrastructure projects, such as the Metro Manila Subway Project and the upgrade of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) system.

"Of course, we have the very big projects also. We have the subway projects. We will be able to open it na umabot na mapunta sa (that will extend to) Valenzuela. We have the extension of the MRT. But these are long-term projects. But they will come," he said in the latest episode of his podcast aired Friday.
