Manila, Nov. 8 -- The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) postponed their scheduled Sunday games as Typhoon Uwan threatened Luzon.

The professional PBA was the first to call off its games on Saturday, putting its scheduled doubleheader at Ynares Center 2 in Rodriguez, Rizal on hold.

TNT was supposed to face Magnolia in the first game, while Ginebra was scheduled to take on Titan Ultra in the second game.

"The PBA urges everyone to take all necessary precautions and stay safe during the typhoon," the PBA said in a statement.
