Manila, June 17 -- The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) and the Bureau of Immigration on Tuesday deported 100 Chinese nationals apprehended in four separate raids on Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) since last year.

The deportation is in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to intensify the campaign to remove foreign nationals engaged in illicit online gaming and scamming operations, and dismantle organized criminal networks.

In a statement, the PAOCC said that in coordination with the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines, the deportees were sent home on board Philippine Airlines flight PR336 bound for Shanghai at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 in Paranaque City.
