ALCALA, Dec. 18 -- The municipal government of this town officially adopted the Paleng-QR Ph Plus digital payment platform in its public market and public transportation on Thursday.

"Convenient sa mamimili at sa nagtitinda, kahit wala sa area ay pwede mamalengke. Hindi man ma-cover lahat (Convenient for the consumers and the sellers. Even though they are not in the area, they can still buy products from the market. It may not cover all vendors) but (a) substantial number will be covered by February," Mayor Manuel Collado said in an interview.

He said the implementation would be easier with the help and cooperation of the associations of market vendors and the public transport drivers, or the Tricycle Drivers Association.
