Manila, Sept. 3 -- The Marcos administration will do its best to give Filipinos a more comfortable life, Malacanang assured the public on Wednesday.

Palace Press Officer Claire Castro made the vow, as she welcomed the results of the Social Weather Stations' (SWS) survey conducted from June 25 to 29, which found that 35 percent of Filipinos believed their lives had improved compared to a year ago.

The number of Filipinos whose quality of life improved, also called "gainers," rose by one percentage point from the 34 percent recorded in April 2025, according to SWS' poll results.
