Manila, Nov. 4 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Tuesday welcomed a new USD3-billion investment from Danish renewable energy giant Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), signaling renewed global confidence in the country's investment climate.

In a press briefing, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro announced that CIP officials paid a courtesy call on Marcos in Malacanang to express their commitment to invest in the Philippines' fast-growing renewable energy sector through their partnership with ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions.
