Manila, June 5 -- Malacanang on Thursday expressed satisfaction over the ongoing negotiations between the Philippines and the United States (US) amid the new trade policy under the Trump administration.
Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said talks between the Philippine delegation led by Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs Secretary Frederick Go and the US Trade Representative (USTR) are ongoing.
Castro, however, told Palace reporters that she could not divulge additional information because of the "confidentiality agreement" between the two parties.
