Manila, Nov. 4 -- Malacanang on Tuesday said it respects the House lawmakers' decision to conduct an inquiry into the dolomite beach project along Manila Bay, stressing that the move could help clarify issues related to flood control and environmental impact.
Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will not interfere with the Committee on Public Accounts' plan to hold a hearing, emphasizing the separation of powers among the three branches of government.
