Manila, Nov. 8 -- Malacanang said on Saturday that it has yet to receive any official confirmation regarding reports that the International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued a warrant of arrest against Senator Ronald Dela Rosa in connection with the Duterte administration's war on drugs.

"No confirmation," Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said in a text message when asked to respond to Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla's statement that the ICC had issued an arrest warrant against Dela Rosa.

Castro added that the Marcos administration is "busy" preparing for Typhoon Uwan, as it continues to intensify disaster response efforts.

In an interview with dzRH, Remulla said an ICC arrest warrant had already been issued for Dela Rosa.
