MANILA, Dec. 4 -- Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced on Thursday that it will launch direct services between Manila and Koror, Palau beginning March 29, 2026.
"Creating flights to this Pacific island will stimulate tourism travel among beach lovers and the diving community," PAL president Richard Nuttall said in a statement.
The twice-weekly services from Manila are scheduled every Wednesday and Sunday, while flights from Palau will operate every Monday and Thursday.
PAL will use the 199-seater dual-class Airbus A321ceo for the new route.
Koror is the gateway to Palau's marine attractions. The destination has dive sites, lagoons, and coral reefs.
