Manila, July 8 -- Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced Tuesday the relaunch of its nonstop services between Manila and Sapporo, Japan starting Nov. 24.

The thrice-weekly services, however, will be offered only until March 27, 2026, and every winter season from November to March.

"This route not only provides a convenient travel option for Filipino tourists and overseas workers, but also opens doors for Japanese travelers to explore and experience the Philippines' vibrant culture and warm hospitality," PAL President Richard Nuttall said in a statement.

He added that the reopening of PAL's direct flights from Manila to Sapporo would help strengthen bilateral relations and cultural ties with Japan.
