Manila, Dec. 18 -- Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) now has nonstop flights between Cebu and Guam.

"PAL's Cebu-Guam service complements daily flights between Manila and Guam, and will be flown with the Airbus A321CEO aircraft jetliners," the airline said in a news release on Thursday.

The new route, which started Dec. 16, is Cebu's first direct link to Guam, a U.S. territory.

Flights from the Mactan-Cebu International Airport is scheduled every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 9:40 p.m., arriving at 3:25 a.m. local time.

From Guam, flights to Cebu is every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 5:15 a.m., arriving at 6:50 a.m.
