Manila, Oct. 13 -- Philippine Air Force (PAF) aircraft on Sunday transported relief items for communities still reeling from the two powerful earthquakes that rocked Davao Oriental and nearby areas on Oct. 10.
PAF spokesperson Col. Ma. Christina Basco, in a statement Monday, said these flights are part of the service's support to ongoing humanitarian assistance and disaster response (HADR) missions by the government.
In Sunday's HADR mission, C-130 and NC-212i transport planes took off from Benito N. Ebuen Air Base in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu to deliver relief items to Mati Airport, Davao Oriental.
