Manila, Jan. 7 -- Nearly PHP70 million worth of shabu was seized, and two individuals were arrested in a police buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, late Tuesday night.

In a statement Wednesday, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said one of the suspects was classified as a high-value individual.

Authorities recovered about 10,285.6 grams of suspected shabu valued at PHP69,942,080 during the operation conducted at 11:06 p.m. by the Bohol Police Provincial Office's Provincial Intelligence Unit and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, in coordination with the Tagbilaran City Police Station.

The suspects and seized evidence were immediately turned over to the Tagbilaran City Police Station for documentation and proper disposition....
