Manila, Feb. 10 -- The National Housing Authority (NHA) has broken ground for a PHP70-million housing project intended for families displaced by recent earthquakes in Cotabato, marking the start of construction of the Kidapawan Resettlement Project in Sitio Calaocan, Barangay Paco, Kidapawan City.

In a news release on Tuesday, the NHA quoted Region 12 manager Engr. Zenaida Cabiles as saying the project is part of the agency's Housing Assistance Program for Calamity Victims (HAPCV).

The project will consist of 67 duplex buildings, or a total of 134 permanent housing units, including 65 standard duplexes and two units designed to accommodate persons with disabilities (PWDs).
