Bulacan, Nov. 24 -- A PHP40-million sports complex with state-of-the-art amenities will soon rise in this town.
Senator Emmanuel Joel Villanueva led on Tuesday the ceremonial groundbreaking of the sports complex which was named after his sister, the late mayor Joni Villanueva, whose 43rd birthday is being celebrated on this day.
The senator, in his message, said that the sports center was one of the dream projects of the late mayor for her constituents.
It will be erected on a 1,100-square meter lot along Governor Halili Avenue, Barangay Binang 2nd here, which was donated by the Villanueva family.
