Manila, April 4 -- Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives have confiscated PHP26.3 million worth of illegal drugs in separate operations in the provinces of Cavite and Pampanga, and in Pasay City.

In a statement on Friday, the PDEA said a suspect, identified as alias Sian, 30, was arrested in the buy-bust operation in Dasmarinas, Cavite, and seized from him around 1.5 kilos of shabu worth PHP10.2 million.

In Clark, Pampanga, the PDEA Clark Interdiction unit confiscated 4,491 pieces of party drug tablets, known as ecstasy, worth PHP7.6 million in an operation on April 2.

The illegal drugs were found in a shipment that arrived at the Port of Clark on March 29 from Belgium.
